In accordance with the provisions of the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 you (consumers, not businesses) have the right to cancel your contract within a period of 14 days (the cancellation period) from the day we send your booking confirmation. Exceptions to this are when the course falls within 10 days of booking. This right of cancellation shall not affect your statutory rights.
Should you wish to exercise this right of cancellation please send confirmation to the contact details provided as part of the booking process.
Cancellations within 10 working days of acceptance of a booking request may be invoiced but will not be charged.
No refunds will be made if a delegate cancels 11 working days after booking a course, or if the course commencement date falls within 10 days of booking.
Any cancellation received by us 25 working days or more before the course commencement date will be charged at 50% of the course fee.
Any cancellation received by us between 24 and 16 working days before the course commencement date will be charged at 75% of the course fee, plus any additional costs incurred from our suppliers depending on the date cancellation is received.
Any cancellation received by us within 15 working days of the course commencement date will be charged at the full course fee.
Any cancellations that result in part of a course fee being refunded will be refunded within 30 days of the cancellation being received by us, and refunds will be processed using the same method by which the course fees were paid.
Payments made via PayPal will incur a 5% fee when being refunded.
Should you book a course that commences 20 working days or fewer from the booking date (termed a late booking), you will be liable immediately for the full course fee; course fees must be paid within 3 working days of the late booking being made in order for us to issue your pre-course reading and joining instructions. If payment is not received within this time frame, we reserve the right to cancel your booking.
Late bookings are non-refundable, and non-transferable to alternative dates in the event of cancellation after the booking date.
Due to the nature of our business, our courses have to run with a minimum number of candidates attending; you will be notified no less than 7 working days before your course commencement date should we need to change the date of the course.
Courses are subject to cancellation or rescheduling at 100% Effective’s discretion. If the date or venue of the course is changed subsequent to your booking, you will be notified and given the option to receive a credit to attend an alternative course. We shall not be liable for any additional loss, travel expenses or damage resulting from such cancellation or changes made outside of the cancellation period.
We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under an order that is caused by an event beyond our control. Joining instructions will be issued between 10 and 15 working days before the course commencement date, and will confirm the exact training venue and timings for each day. Although we can provide anticipated venue information prior to this time, we recommend travel and accommodation arrangements are not confirmed until receipt of the official joining instructions.
Occasionally, for reasons beyond our control, we may be required to make a late change to the training venue after the joining instructions have been issued. 100% Effective cannot accept liability for any additional/cancellation costs related to accommodation or travel that may be incurred by delegates as a result of a venue change.
